Good Neighbor Award

On appropriate occasions, the Greater Allisonville Community Council (GACC) wishes to recognize individuals, companies, and organizations making significant contributions to enhance the quality of life for neighbors in our northeastern Marion County community. This is accomplished through presentation at public meetings of a Good Neighbor Award plaque and letter of appreciation.

Christine Scales, Indianapolis City-County Councilor and Grand Marshall

The directors of the Greater Allisonville Community Council commend Christine Scales, who at the time of the award, was serving her first term as Indianapolis District Four City-County Councilor. Councilor Scales devoted extensive time and effort on infrastructure improvements, was a leader on local issues in the City-County Council, and was a frequent visitor at neighborhood association meetings.
