Sue Pfohl


Sue is native of Indianapolis. She lived and worked in the Evansville area from 1976 until her return to Indianapolis in 2011. She have four children, Diane, Craig, Stephen, and Tricia.

Jim Aelick


Jim was elected to GACC’s Board in January 2015, also serving as Vice-President of Fairfields-Sylvan which is a neighborhood association of some 500 households. As an independent contractor, he provides extensive knowledge of construction codes in Washington Township.

He and his family have lived in Fairfields-Sylvan for over 17 years, enjoying its family-oriented and extensive wooded nature. This northeast area is close to school, church, and many of their friends. GACC allows Jim to be involved in discussions and decisions affecting our community issues.

Jason DeArman


Jason & his wife Kara live in Steinmeier Estates and have two children. Their daughter Avery is in fifth grade and their son Charlie is in first grade at Allisonville Elementary in Marion County’s Washington TWP. Jason has many community affiliations including National Association of Realtors, Indiana Association of Realtors, Metropolitan Indianapolis Board of Realtors where he was part of the 2013-2014 (REAL) Real Estate Academy of Leadership class and recently serving as a RPAC At Large Trustee. He serves as a member of the MIBOR Finance Committee. Jason and his family are members at Tabernacle Presbyterian Church, TAB. He also serves on the Marion County Citizens Police Complaint Board

Doug McKee


Doug McKee and his wife Kathy live in the Oak Hill neighborhood.  He is a Ball State graduate in Accounting, having worked for several accounting firms, LinkBelt, and in the RV industry as an accountant, before landing the job of comptroller for the Pacers in the Bobby Leonard era. He recently retired from that position. During land issues that arose on Oak Hill Drive several years ago, he was very active and attended several GACC meetings dealing with those concerns.

Joseph Goeller

Executive Director

Joe Goeller joined the GACC Board of Directors in early December 2009. He has been a Fairfields-Sylvan homeowner since December 1978. After graduating with a BA degree in history from Indiana University – Bloomington, he served as a US Army Captain for eight years active duty and reserves.

Joe retired after 37 years in insurance, including being a casualty claim manager and a security analyst auditing claim offices across the USA. He currently acts as a ward chairman in Indianapolis; is president of the Fairfields-Sylvan Neighborhood Association; and performs as  secretary of his I.U. fraternity alumni association. Joe’s duties as GACC executive director include liaison activities with 22 neighborhood groups.

JT Funk


J.T. resides in Indianapolis with his wife and their three children. He is a member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Parish and is the Head Coach of the 10U AA Junior Fuel hockey team. J.T. also plays guitar in a band called The Tamarindo Band who raises money to help send young adults from El Salvador to college.

Don Melloy


Don retired from AT&T after 36 years in various management positions. He has been a GACC Director since 1997, serving as Greater Allisonville’s Treasurer for many years, with particular knowledge of building and signage codes in Marion County.

Don is renown in the Indianapolis area for his wood-working skills, gathering with friends every year in his workshop to make wooden toys for children as a Christmas charity project.
